If you use Cardhop on your iOS devices and a Mac, then this blog post is for you! Make sure you're logged in to iCloud on all your devices and you'll be ready for all of the tips and tricks discussed in this post.
Let's dive in and see how to use Cardhop for iOS and macOS together!
Mar 24, 2021. If the volume isn't formatted APFS or Mac OS Extended (Journaled), or has been used for Time Machine backups but hasn't been erased, this checkbox will either not be present, or won't be selectable after unlocking. Erase and reformat the drive for this option to be available.

Handoff
Text editing tools. Juego de video poker. Handoff lets you quickly pass info between iOS and macOS including contacts in Cardhop. If you're browsing contact details on your iPhone and then sit down at your Mac, click the Handoff icon at the left of the Dock and Cardhop for Mac will pick up right where you left off on your iPhone.
When you've finished at your Mac, continue using Cardhop on your iOS device by opening the app switcher and tapping the ‘Cardhop' bar at the bottom of the screen. You can use Handoff to continue pretty much anything between your devices, even text that you've started typing into Cardhop's parser!
Syncing Favorites and Recents
Cardhop automatically syncs your favorite and recent contacts between devices. Mark a contact as a favorite on your Mac and it will appear on iOS as well!

Copy Contact URL
You may already know that Cardhop allows you to quickly and easily copy a unique URL for a specific contact, which can then be used to jump directly to that contact, either on its own or as part of a larger shortcut.

However, did you also know that these contact URLs are compatible across devices and platforms? This means that you can paste a contact URL from Cardhop for iOS into the Notes app and then click the URL from the Notes app on your Mac to open Cardhop for Mac to that specific contact. Can you think of any other instances where this might streamline your workflow?
What's more, you can take advantage of iCloud's Universal Clipboard feature to quickly copy the contact URL from your Mac and then paste it into an app or text field on your iPhone, or vice versa!
